Here is where you will find all the music recorded by myself and/or my good friends from back home. Many of the people involved in these projects are people I have known for many years, growing up together and sharing many great experiences.
Atephoald Vs The Futureheads is a rework I was asked to do for The Futureheads (I think you may have guessed that from the artist info) a little while back. I had to do this in very little time, but it actually turned out quite pleasing.
The members of Patience Cleveland were regularly making music together from 2002 until late 2007, and consisted of 4 main members: Ben Crudgington, Rich Willison, Ken Canham and myself – Ed Underwood. The original name for the band was The Jane Doe Eulogy before becoming Patience Cleveland. There were various other people involved from time-to-time but none of them were part of the core group. See the Patience Cleveland store for more on this.
BADDIES. I have known the Webster twins (drums, guitar and vocals) since around 1994/5 and have been good friends with them since very shortly after that. The past decade has seen them both involved with various bands and musical projects, but this latest is by far their best – a very unique style of 50’s vibe, 90’s attitude and their own individuality. Totally catchy, brutally honest and a highly entertaining live show to boot. Great stuff.
Which brings us to Hoodlums. I went to school with Luke Branch (vocals & guitar), but it wasn’t until college in 2000 that we really hit it off and became great friends. We had some simply brutal drinking sessions the details of which I will be leaving well away from these pages – the only thing that will always baffle me is how we didn’t kill ourselves or more importantly, anyone else in the process. Or how we kept our freedom, even if I didn’t get to keep my driving license for very long the first time. Anyway, we were again in various bands together, the first of which was Retrograde, followed by Dando and then Smother. Hoodlums is Luke’s current offering, and is by far the most accessible and intelligent of the lot. I thinking he’s cut back on the drinking these days.
Check it all out and know that the South-east of England has much to offer the music world.

Those little beauties that dedicate themselves to re-defining how Christmas is perceived and viewed. Bring on the alternate soundtrack to this festive period!
Christmas Is Awesome
Reuben
Label: Hideous Records
Released: 17 Dec '07
Yes, it really is – more so for this track. This is what Christmas should really sound like. F**k the classics, the traditional, the down-right pathetic. Christmas is HERE.
Christmas For The Lobotomizer
One Man Army And The Undead Quartet
Label: Nuclear Blast
Released: 17 Nov '06
The Swedish know their metal – and this is a brutal example of how much. What a bunch of crazy motherf**kers. Christmas For The Lobotomizer is my choice for the festive season of course, but I highly recommend the 3 live tracks that accompany it.
